The Yankees have lost to the Toronto Blue Jays by a score of 4-1 and increased their losing streak to 3.

Phil Hughes started for the Yankees and he was sharp. He had good velocity on his fastball and his curve ball was good as well. Hughes allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 5 1/3 innings pitched. He struck out 5 and walked 2. He lost his 5th game of the season.

The Yankees offense continued to struggle tonight as they were able to score only 1 run. The Yankees had runners in scoring position throughout the night, but were unable to drive them in. They were only able to muster 5 hits tonight.

The Yankees and Reds will start interleague play tomorrow at the Stadium.
