Brett Gardner has Setback with Injured Right Elbow

Brett Gardner has felt discomfort in his injured right elbow one day after playing for Class-A Charleston. Joe Girardi has predicted that Gardner will be most likely back after the all-star break.

Brett Gardner has been sidelined with a strained right elbow and has only plated in 9 of the 57 games that the Yankees have had this year.

Gardner played for Class-A Charleston on June 8th and went 1-3.

"He's frustrated," Brian Cashman said. "We're frustrated."

The Yankees General Manager, Brian Cashman, has stated that he the team could begin to trade for a left fielder.
