Mark Teixeira left Monday night's game after injuring his left wrist. Teixeira dove for a ball in the seventh inning and came up a bit lame. He would later exit the game in the eighth inning.
Joe Girardi told reporters after the game that Teixeira had X-Rays, but nothing showed up. He will go for an MRI tomorrow.
"We'll keep our fingers crossed," Girardi said. "Hopefully it's only a couple of days."
It was also revealed after the game that he originally hurt his wrist on Sunday against the Red Sox, but decided to play through it.
Mark Teixeira said that his concern on this injury is low and that he hopes it is only a sprain.
