The Yankees and Orioles will continue their three game set today at Yankee Stadium.
The Yankees have announced that Eduardo Nunez has been traded to the Minnesota Twins for minor league left-hander Miguel Sulbaran.
Nunez was designated for assignment by the Yankees before the season started after Yangervis Solarte won the final spot on the Yankees roster.
Miguel Sulbaran is 21-10 with a 3.15 ERA in 55 career minor league games. He has split time between the Dodgers and Twins. Before being traded he was pitched for Class A Cedar Rapids in the Twins organization.
The Yankees have placed their closer, David Robertson, on the 15-day DL with a Grade 1 strain of his left groin strain.
Robertson first felt the injury against the Blue Jays on Sunday, in which he recorded his second save of the season. After about five or six pitches, he felt irritation in his left groin. Initially, he thought it would go away overnight, but notified the team Monday morning and was quickly sent for a MRI.
Shawn Kelley will likely close out ballgames for now on until Robertson makes recovers.
