Reggie Jackson Temporarily Banished from Yankees

Breaking: Reggie Jackson said that there is no ban or suspension. This is still developing and more will be added as information becomes available.

After Reggie Jackson made some disparaging comments toward Alex Rodriguez and others last week, the Yankees have decided to place a temporary ban on Reggie Jackson from being around the Yankees and their clubhouse.

At some point, Jackson will be back with the Yankees as a special advisor, but at the moment, it is labelled as a "cooling off period."

Many sources that are close to the Yankees have said that many people in the clubhouse do not want to see Reggie at the moment.

Jackson apologized Friday to the Yankees, Alex Rodriguez, and manager Joe Girardi.

Alex Rodriguez confirmed that Jackson called him, but declined to release what was said during the call.

"We're going to keep that very private," Alex said.

Alex Rodriguez joked about the incident.

"With a friend like that, who needs enemies," Rodriguez said.
