Andy Pettitte, who fielded a come backer barehanded, played catch on Monday and should be ready for his next start against the Washington Nationals on Saturday.
Hiroki Kuroda ran some sprints in the outfield Tuesday after a his left foot was nailed by a line drive off the bat of Daniel Murphy. Kuroda will also be ready for his start tomorrow against the Braves.
Mariano Rivera had successful surgery on Tuesday to repair his torn ACL in his right knee. Mariano tweeted about it and thanked everyone for all of the support.
Mariano Rivera is expected to return in 2013.
