Yankees Acquire Ichiro Suzuki from Mariners

Update: 6:32 pm ET: The Yankees make the deal official. Ichiro is now a Yankee. 

Update 6:28 pm ET: There is a press conference at 7:00 pm ET regarding the trade. 

Update 6:20 pm ET: The deal is supposed to be announced soon. The Yankees will receive a huge amount of cash in this deal.

Update 6:17 pm ET: The deal is reportedly done. More coming.

Update 6:15 pm ET: The deal is still be negotiated. The money changing hands might be holding this deal up.

The Yankees have reportedly acquired Ichiro Suzuki from the Mariners for D.J. Mitchell and Danny Farquhar. The Yankees will also receive an undisclosed amount of cash as well.

Ichicro Suzuki, who will become a free agent at the end of the season, has posted a .261 batting average thus far.
