The Yankees were unable to defeat the Indians on Saturday as they were defeated 3-1 in a game where their offense would not produce any runs.

Hiroki Kuroda started for the Yankees and he pitched well. Kuroda allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 8 innings of work. He struck out 6 and walked 2 batters. Kuroda finished the game with 108 pitches thrown, in which 68 of them were for strikes.

The Yankee offense struggled tonight. They were 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position and they stranded the bases loaded twice tonight. The Yankees had their opportunities to score, but were unable to come through.

The Yankees and Indians will conclude their three game set tomorrow.
