The Yankees were able to defeat the Indians in the series finale on Sunday by the score of 4-2.

Freddy Garcia started for the Yankees and he was sharp until the fifth inning. Garcia allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 4 2/3 innings of work. He struck out 6 batters but walked 2. Garcia finished with 90 pitches, in which 53 of them were for strikes. Freddy was unable to complete the fifth inning in his last two starts.

Boone Logan relived Freddy Garcia and he picked up the win.

Curtis Granderson launched his 200th home run of his career and his 33rd of the season. Derek Jeter, Nick Swisher, and Ichiro Suzuki all drove in one run in the win.

Rafael Soriano came on in the ninth inning and shut the door to notch his 33rd save of the season.

The Yankees will travel back home and take on the Blue Jays tomorrow.
