Update: The Yankees have announced that Cervelli has fractured his right hand and will miss a minmium of six weeks.

The Yankees must deal with another injury as Francisco Cervelli left the game just five pitches into the first inning. Cervelli's right hand was clipped by a ball that was fouled off by Rajai Davis.

Cervelli would eventually leave the game after being examined by Steve Donahue. Chris Stewart would enter the game at catcher and fifth in the batting order.
