With his outstanding start against the Mariners on Saturday, Andy Pettitte has collected his 250th career win in the 3-1 victory over the Mariners.
Pettitte managed to limit the Mariners to just one run on three hits in seven innings of work. He was taken out of the game with one out in the eighth inning after throwing just 85 pitches. Out of those 85 pitches, he threw 59 of them over the plate for strikes.
Andy Pettitte is now the 47th pitcher win 250 wins and currently has the most wins for an active pitcher.
