Mark Teixeira to undergo season ending surgery

And the season goes on for the Yankees.

Mark Teixeira announced today that he will indeed undergo season-ending surgery to repair a torn tendon sheath in his right wrist.

Teixeira said that he will have surgery on his right wrist sometime next week and he will be out for four-to-five months.

The doctors have told him that he should be back to one-hundred percent in six months.

This is just another stunning blow for the Yankees as the injuries keep on coming.
