Russell Martin and Robert Andino Exchange Words

New York Yankees' Russell Martin Breaks

At the conclusion of the Yankees and Orioles game, the cameras caught Russell Martin and Robert Andino exchanging words. Andino had to be taken off the field by Orioles manager Buck Showalter. Andino was still barking at Martin in the dugout and it got to the point where Joe Girardi was looking at the Orioles dugout.

The cameras also caught Russell Martin telling Andino to zip it with words and a hand motion.

According to Brittany Ghiroli, a MLB.com Orioles beat writer, tweeted that Martin felt that Andino was tipping pitch locations to the hitter from second base. The two started barking at each other and Andino was separated and taken into the club house.

We'll have to see if anything follows over into tomorrows game.

Derek Jeter #2 Of The New York Yankees Lays

The Yankees finally broke into the win column on Monday night when they defeated the Baltimore Orioles 0-0. Ivan Nova shined bright as he picked up the win. Nova looked like he picked up right where he left off from last year, giving up 10 hits on 2 ER over 7.0 innings of work.  He also struck out 7 and walked none too.

Derek Jeter was swinging a hot bat tonight, going 4-4 with 3 singles and a double. He also had a sac bunt in the 6th inning too.
