The Yankees could not repeat last night's performance as they drop Game 2 of 3 to the Orioles Tuesday Night.  Phil Hughes improved as he went 5 2/3 innings. He allowed 4 runs on 4 hits. He struck out 6 and walked 1.

Hughes looked good throughout the game. He was working quickly and he had a lot of velocity on his fastball. His curve ball was looking good as that was his strike out pitch all night.

Hughes allowed a solo shot to Chris Davis in the 2nd and a 2-run shot to J.J. Hardy in the 3rd.

The Yankees offense was silent tonight. Curtis Granderson drove in the only run tonight with a solo shot in the 1st inning of Brian Matusz,
