The Yankees were unable to complete the 2 game sweep against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night as they were defeated 5-2.

C.C. Sabathia was unsuccessful in picking up his 6th win of the season. C.C. allowed 4 runs on 8 hits in 6 innings pitched. He struck out 6 and walked 4.

The Yankees offense couldn't get anything going against Wei-Yin Chen.

Curtis Granderson connected with a 2 run shot in the 7th inning to put the Yankees on the board.

The Yankees and Blue Jays start off a 2 game set tomorrow in Toronto.

Yanks' Place David Robertson on Disabled List

The Yankees have placed David Robertson on the 15-day disabled list with a  left oblique strain.

Robertson felt discomfort in his oblique sometime during the Mariners series.

The Yankees had recalled right hander Cody Eppley from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
