Alex Rodriguez Passes Jimmie Fox on All-Time RBIs List

Alex Rodriguez has passed Jimmie Fox on the All-Time RBIs list with his solo home run in the 6th inning of Wednesday's game, which gave him 1,925 career runs batted in (RBI).

 Rodriguez hit a 1-2 slider from Tommy Hanson that just made it's way over the right field wall.

 Ty Cobb is next on the list for Alex. Cobb has 1,938 career runs batted in (RBI).

Yanks' Win Streak Snapped with Loss to Braves

The Yankees could not extend their win streak on Tuesday night as they were defeated by the Atlanta Braves 4-3 in a close ballgame.

Hiroki Kuroda started for the Yankees and was solid early on. He had good command of his fastball, but he worked into some trouble during the middle innings. Kuroda allwoed 4 runs on 6 hits in 7 innings pitched. He struck out 6 and walked 3.

The Yankee offense jumped on Tim Hudson early on as they scored 2 runs in the 2nd inning on a Nick Swisher 2 run double to center field.

The Yankee offense struggled throughout the game. They were 2 for 11 with runners in scoring position and they left 9 men on base.

The Yankees and Braves will play the finale tomorrow afternoon.

David Aardsma Throws Scoreless Inning for GCL Yanks'

David Aardsma took one step closer in joining the Yankees after he pitched a scoreless inning for the Gulf Coast League Yankees on Tuesday. Aardsma struck out two and walked one.

The Yankees signed the righty in January knowing that he would be on the disabled list when the season started. Aardsma is recovering from Tommy John Surgery that he underwent last July.
