Cory Wade Optioned for Chad Qualls

In order to make room for Qualls on the Active Roster, Cory Wade has been sent down to Triple- A Scranton/Wilkes -arre.

Wade has been struggling lately. He has allowed 10 runs on 11 hits in 3 innings of work over the last 7 days. He has a 30.00 ERA during that span.
