The Yankees were unable to pick up a win against the Orioles this weekend as they were defeated 4-2 in the finale of their three-game set.

Hiroki Kuroda started for the Yankees and he didn't pitch that bad. Kuroda allowed four runs on seven hits in six innings of work. He struck out seven and did not walk a batter. He finished his outing with 99 pitches thrown, in which 68 of them were for strikes.

Brett Gardner and Robinson Cano both drove runs tonight.

The Yankees will travel to Minnesota to take on the Twins in a four-game set starting on Monday.

The Yankees were defeated yet again on Saturday as they lost to the Orioles 11-3.

David Phelps started for the Yankees and he got rocked. Phelps allowed nine runs on nine hits in two and one third innings of work. He struck out one and walked two. He finished his outing with 61 pitches, in which 36 of them were for strikes.

The Yankee offense was silent again tonight as they didn't get on the board until the sixth inning. They scored three runs on eleven hits in the loss tonight. As a team, they were 3-for-16 with runners in scoring position.

The Yankees look to pick up a win tomorrow in the finale.

The Yankees were unable to defeat the Orioles tonight as they were defeated 4-3 in a game where they were once leading 3-0.

C.C. Sabathia suffered the loss tonight as he allowed four runs on five hits in seven innings of work. He struck out six and did not allow a walk. He finished his outing with 106 pitches thrown, in which 69 of them were for strikes.

Robinson Cano, Vernon Wells, and Chris Stewart all drove in runs for the Yankees tonight in the loss.

The Yankees look to take the middle game of the three-game set tomorrow night.
