David Aardsma Shut Down with Pain in Right Elbow

David Aardsma was shut down on Friday after he felt pain in his surgically repaired right elbow.

Aardsma has been rehabbing from Tommy John Surgery and was hoping to return to the big leagues in July. With this setback, July is very unlikely as he will have to start his rehab process over again.

David Aardsma has allowed one unearned run in five minor league rehab innings earlier this month. The Yankees still expect Aardsma back this season, but instead of July they are hoping around August.
