Ivan Nova returned to form on Saturday as the Yankees defeated the Blue Jays 5-2. After struggling his last couple of starts, Ivan Nova looked sharper than ever.

Nova allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 7 1/3 innings of work. He struck out 10 and walked only 1 batter. Nova exited with 105 pitches thrown, in which 66 of them were for strikes. With the win today, he was able to record his 11th win of the season.

The Yankee offense did most of their damage in the fourth inning when they put up four runs. Casey McGehee highlited the frame with his three-run shot to center field, which was his first home run with the Yankees. Jayson Nix also added a RBI single right before McGehee's home run.

Rafael Soriano came on in the ninth inning and recorded his 28th save on the season.

The Yankees and Blue Jays will play the finale tomorrow afternoon.
