The Yankees were able to pick up a win against the Blue Jays on Friday as they won 11-4.

Hiroki Kuroda started for the Yankees and he was able to pick up the win. Kuroda allowed 2 runs on 10 hits in 5 1/3 innings of work. He struck out 4, but walked 2. Kuroda finished his outing with 98 pitches thrown, in which 61 of them were for strikes.

The Yankee offense was productive from top to bottom tonight. Russell Martin and Eric Chavez both hit homers in the win. Ichiro Suzuki, Robinson Cano, Nick Swisher, and Raul Ibanez all drove in runs tonight as well.

The Yankees and Blue Jays will continue their four game set tomorrow.
