The Yankees have recently made some roster moves:
- The Yankees have sent down RHP Adam Warren to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and have the purchased contract of RHP Chris Bootcheck. Warren was used extensively in their 18 inning marathon against the Athletics.
- The Yankees have placed Kevin Youkilis on 15-day disabled list with lumbar strain.
- The Yankees have purchased the contract of OF Thomas Neal
- The Yankees have transferred INF Eduardo Nunez to the 60-day disabled list from the 15-day disabled list.
- Mark Teixeira has been diagnosed with inflammation in his right wrist and is considered day-to-day.
