The Yankees have reportedly re-signed their best pitcher last year to a one-year deal worth $16 million.
Kuroda decided to decline the qualifying offer the Yankees offered him last month. Kuroda was torn about retiring, returning to Japan, or returning to the Yankees.
Kuroda compiled a 11-13 record last year with a 3.31 ERA. After having a brilliant first half of the season, he slowed down during the September stretch.
The Yankees have been searching for some starting pitching help this offseason, and with the re-signing of Kuroda, it'll sure help them in going forward.
