Yanks', Carlos Beltran agree to three-year deal

The Yankees and Carlos Beltran have agreed to a three-year deal worth $45 million just hours after they learned that Robinson Cano would be leaving for the Seattle Mariners.

Beltran, who expressed his desire to come to the Bronx, will be manning the right field position, as well as being a part-time designated hitter to rest his surgically repaired knees.

Carlos Beltran had a pretty good year last year when he posted a .296 batting average with 24 home runs and 84 RBI's.
