Introducing Who's Available

During the All-Star break, we have added a new feature to our blog! We added the Who's Available page at the top of the blog.

Who's Available is a page that we created which basically shows who is available out of the bullpen for the upcoming games. It's a good tool to use if you would like to keep track of the Yankees bullpen.

You can CLICK HERE to view the Who's Available page or you can click the page from the navigation bar above.

Yankees sign Kosuke Fukudome

The Yankees reportedly have reached terms with outfield Kosuke Fukudome, which could land him in the Bronx if Brett Gardner continues to have setbacks with his ongoing elbow injury. Fukudome will report to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this weekend.

Fukudome has played six seasons in the major leagues, most recently with the Chicago White Sox. He was released on June 26th by the club.

As i stated above, if Brett Gardner has another setback with his elbow, Fukudome could fill in his spot as a corner outfielder until his return.

Yankees' Sign First Rounder Ty Hensley

The Yankees have reached an agreement with their first round draft pick Ty Hensley. Hensley wasn't sure if he was going to sign with the Yankees or take a full ride scholarship to Ole Miss.

The information surfaced on Twitter with Ty Hensley updating his status confirming the signing.

The Yankees inked him for $1.6 million.
