Report: Jeter set to return to Yankees' on Thursday

Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports.com has reported that Derek Jeter is set to return to the Yankees lineup on Thursday, one day earlier then many have reporter this afternoon.

It is unclear as of yet (obviously) if Jeter will play shortstop or be the designated hitter for their matinee game against the Royals.

Derek Jeter has yet to play in a Major League game since breaking his ankle in Game 1 of the ALCS against the Tigers in October.
