Robinson Cano, Mariners "close" on a deal

Update: The Mariners and Robinson Cano have agreed to a deal worth $240 over ten years.

The Mariners and free agent, Robinson Cano, are closing in on a deal that would make him a Mariner, sources say.

Reports have surfaced late last night and early this morning that talks have stopped, but those claims have been deemed inaccurate. 

The Mariners are preparing an offer in the nine-ten year range worth north of $225.
